Which Is Better Private Job or Government Job In Pakistan My Personal Expierence
We all know that the Government Job is the best. But still we're going to discuss the pros and cons of both Private and Government Jobs in Pakistan. Also the hardships people may face in Private job. I am going to tell you everything in detail as I've worked on both Private job and currently I am working in a Government Department so I know what are problems and every other thing about jobs in Pakistan. Because time teaches you everything.
So let's get Started with my story and then we discuss the problems in both jobs. However if you're doing your dream job it doesn't really matter if it's private or not you're gonna love doing it anyways. Everyone has their dream job some get the chance to do it. Some just aren't lucky enough like me.
How I got the Private Job in Pakistan :
Just so you guys know I've done Bachelors in Arts. So there was a time i was really needing the job because of some circumstances at home and I was looking for job openings everywhere. One day I see a job opening for the call center they we're paying good as written on their page. So I've went there with my CV. As I've reached their I came to know that this was not a call center but a company who provide jobs and they charge their fees. They called me in and asked me if i can pay 3000Rs so they will get me that job. But at that time I didn't had a single penny in my pocket and I've left from there. later I came to know that it was a fraudulent company who gathers money and disappears God saved me that time cause at that time 3000Rs for me was too much. Then I started searching again on OLX this time and I've found the Job opening in my local area . I've passed my interview and I got the job. The salary was very low it was about 20000 rupees but at that time it was at least something for me better to do nothing. So i started that job the first day was very hard I've worked more than 12 hours on my first day. I gave it everything i got. The days passes and so the months but doing that job was very hard. I've to manage my transport fees from in the salary so you know how hard it is . We will discuss this later. I've done that job for 1 year and I quit it. Because the inflation was going up so I've to take the risk.
How I got My Government Job In Pakistan :
Currently I am doing my dream Government Job as a computer Operator and I am very happy. So after I quit that last job I was again searching on the internet but this time on Government websites so I came to find out about a lot of openings that normally people don't came to know about. Army recruitments are opened all the time such as PAK ARMY, PAF , PAK NAVY they have jobs all the time. You can visit their website and find out. So I've applied for the computer operator vacancy as I've done some computer courses as well and they've called me for an interview. I've passed the interview then I passed the typing test where you need at least 30 words per minute and thank god I've landed the job. Got an order letter and I've joined it.
Pros And Cons Of Private Job :
Pros:
- You get financial help instantly so it's good for that.
- You've got to learned a lot so it's also good for your knowledge and something is better than nothing.
- Some private jobs do pay good depends on the skill.
Cons:
- You have to work more than 12 hours
- You Don't get any health benefits.
- You Don't get transport allowance.
- The biggest problem is your not permanent they can fire you any time and you will be jobless no matter how hard you worked for that company.
- A lot of strictness.
Pros And Cons Of Government Job :
Pros :
- You get health benefits.
- Your salary increases yearly and also with promotion.
- You get different allowances
- You get higher salary than any Private Job.
- You've a permanent career.
- You get a lot of retirement benefits like pension, gratuity and a lot more.
- No strictness
And I'm sorry there's no con for a Government Job . You're gonna love it once you started it.
