Elon Musk Claims That Twitter Ad Revenue is Declined By 50% (Latest Update)

As you know about the competition between Elon Musk Company "Twitter" and Mark Zuckerberg newly launched Platform "Threads" As Threads has reached 150 M Downloads just in it's second week. Which has became a disaster for Twitter. The Twitter owner revealed on Saturday that the company is in negative cash flow  due to 50% decline in Ad Revenue and "heavy debt load" as People are loving Threads and Meta is still trying to make it more engaging for it's users. So Threads is now officially a big threat to Twitter that they must deal with soon.

Elon Musk Said that : "We’re still negative cash flow, due to ~50% drop in advertising revenue plus heavy debt load. Need to reach positive cash flow before we have the luxury of anything else."

Elon Musk is also the CEO of the Company Tesla and SpaceX. Elon Musk bought the Twitter last year for 44 Billion Dollars and since then he's been making changes in Twitter as some new ways to earn for influencers and also he says that these changes will reduce the cash and debt burden. But nothing seems to work out and after the Launch of Threads. They've been really suffering as Twitter has always been in controversies but since last year it's has became really controversial because of Twitter Blue Program and allowing some banned high profiles to be back on Twitter.

In April Elon Musk told to the BBC news that the platform is now "roughly breaking even" he also added that the platform hopefully will be cash positive by the end of the June but i guess that's doesn't seems to be happening right now.

Last Month while talking about the revenue generated by Twitter, Musk, in a Twitter Spaces livestream event hosted with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., said, “It’s definitely been extremely difficult. Basically, our revenue is cut in half because we didn’t toe the line.” He added it’s been a “huge struggle for Twitter to break even.” These are the exact words of him.

Another Shocking change is made on Saturday the same day when Twitter launched Ad Revenue Program for it's users to attract for influencers. In This Ad Revenue Sharing Program users are likely to sign up for it so they earn a good portion from the Twitter Ad Revenue which is a good part. But the bigger problem was Threads as it surpasses 100M downloads in first week.
