BSIT and BSCS are not the same thing as many people think about it. Both are different fields and have totally different studies and scopes. However, both fields require a great knowledge of computers if you don't know anything about the computer or you haven't chosen computers in your previous class and you might also don't like Mathematics. Then most probably these fields are not for you to jump in. It's only for people who have been coding for a lot of time and have a lot of interest in computers. As you know in this modern era where everything is getting computerized and computer coders are in high demand with good salary packages.

But here we are talking about that which one is better in Pakistan BSIT or BSCS because in Pakistan due to the inflation and also due to the dollar hike salaries are very lower as compared to other countries. So let's compare them and see which one will be better.

What is BSIT?

BSIT stands for Bachelor in Information Technology in which the person studies software development, problem-solving, databases, data retrial, and learning about data processing. The aim is to build graduates who can meet the needs of companies and organizations. After completing their intermediate or A Levels students can apply for admission in any good university for BSIT in Pakistan.

A student can complete this degree in 4 years and it is equivalent to Masters.

What is BSCS?

BSCS stands for Bachelors in Computer Sciences in which the student will learn for programming, coding , software developing, app developing, web developing, ux designing everything comes under BSCs. Right now BSCS and BSIT are both growing in Pakistan at an immense rate. BSCS is expensive and much higher scope than BSIT. you can say that BSIT is just a basic knowledge of BSCS and this has demand in every county if you know how to code well. Coding is the most important thing in BSCS you have to learn different programming languages and also you have to be very good in mathematics.

This is also a 4 year degree that will open doors of opportunities for you.
