The Government Employees Protest At Punjab Civil Secretariat Lahore Has Come To an End (Latest Update)

As you know that there was a protest going on at the Punjab Civil Secretariat Lahore and it has gone up to 3 days. The protest demands was to correct some issues regarding Government Employees as they think that the future of their children's is threated due to the recent changes in the law. 

Every Government Organization has participated in that Protest and now we can see that there is a bit of hope for the Government Employees. The biggest problem was that the salary increment announced in 2023 July says that The Salaries of the Government Employees will only increased as their intimal stage. Means if an Employee was recruited at BPS-1 but now he has promoted to BPS-11 but he will still get the increment on the Salary of BPS-1 which merely is an increment of some hundred rupees. But the inflation has increased up to 100% since last year so how can someone survive this is the Biggest motive in of the Protest.

Finally the Protest Comes to an end On Saturday 15 July, 2023. It has been stated that the Higher Officers has said that they will fulfill their demands in One Month. They have asked them for one month time. So let's see what happens.

According to the Leader of the Protest said that "if our demands were not fulfilled in a month than there will be a proper lockdown in every Government Organization". He also said that "we are giving them time as we don't want to interrupt or disturb the people coming for Muharra" a month very important for Muslims.
